Engineering Foundation Year - T Level

The Foundation Engineering is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to begin a career in the engineering sector. Completing this qualification awards you a Level 3 BTEC foundation in Engineering, giving you the skills and knowledge needed to progress to Apprenticeship or University in either Engineering and Manufacturing You’ll learn through a mix of supervised, work-based training and hands-on experience on real projects.

  • Entry Requirements

    You will need to have successfully completed a Level 2 qualification with Merit and achieved at least one grade 4 in English, Maths, or a Science-related subject

    • Or have 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (Higher Maths) or above
  • Assessment

    Students are assessed in a variety of ways to ensure they develop into well-rounded and capable individuals. Throughout the course, students are required to undertake 2 written based exams and internal assessments.

  • Moving Forward

    You will be able to progress onto a T Level course in either Engineering and Manufacturing or Design Surveying and Planning Construction after successful completion
